MANILA, Philippines—Malacañang on Wednesday confirmed the resignation of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Arnaldo “Arnell” Arevalo Ignacio for “personal reasons.”“Mr. Ignacio has proven his competence in public service in his current position, as well as during his tenure at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor). Duterte named Ignacio as deputy executive director V of OWWA on Jan. 23, 2018. In 2016, Ignacio was appointed as assistant vice president for the community relation and services department of Pagcor.
