Palace: Bangsamoro law’s fate up to SCBy The Manila TimesTHE Supreme Court (SC) has the final say on the legality of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL), which grants wider autonomy to Muslim Mindanao, Malacañang said on Tuesday. “We will let the Supreme Court decide on that matter. “It is indubitable the ARMM (Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) and the Cordilleras were created by the Constitution. The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region was created by Congress in violation of the Constitution,” a portion of the petition read. The Moro law overhauls the current autonomy set-up in Mindanao, granting the new Bangsamoro region greater wider control over resources and political power.
