Islamabad: An American newspaper has revealed in its latest report that Pakistan made intensive diplomatic efforts to establish peace during the ongoing war in the Middle East, in which telephone diplomacy played an important role. According to the report, the Pakistani leadership continuously contacted various world leaders to reduce tensions in the region. These contacts included important leaders from Tehran, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, Istanbul and Brussels, with whom discussions were held regarding the establishment of peace and possible negotiations. According to him, an important meeting between representatives of the two countries is expected soon, which may apparently take place in Pakistan. Experts say that Pakistan’s dynamic diplomacy reflects its growing role in the region and global trust, and if these efforts are successful, they could prove to be a significant breakthrough in ending the conflict.
