Share:ISLAMABAD - To further boost the security of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Pakistan will seek Chinese grant for the construction of 17 regional offices for Intelligence Bureau (IB) along the corridor route, it is learnt reliably here yesterday. The project aims at construction of offices and residential accommodation for IB staff posted along the CPEC route. A total of 17 sub-projects for the IB will be executed under the main PC-I. A concept clearance “Construction of Intelligence Bureau Offices with Chinese Assistance,” has already been cleared by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) and now negotiations with Chinese side will take place, the source said. The project is sponsored by the Cabinet Division and is executed by Intelligence Bureau through Pakistan Public Works Department.
