more-inA Pakistani prisoner Arshad Muhammad, who was serving life sentence in the Warangal Central Jail, was released on Saturday. His term ended in August last year and the Indian government permitted him to go back to his country. However, the Pakistan government reportedly did not respond in time and documentation process took time. According to him, 53-year-old Arshad was sentenced to life in 2009 after the Indian government found him guilty of treason and spying for Pakistan. Mr Sampath said after all the documentation got into place for Arshad, the Indian government ordered his release on Saturday.
