Stating that “Pakistan is not a state, but a state of mind”, Hosabale said, “Pakistan considers India its enemy. Speaking at the launch of the quarterly journal, Pakistan Watch, brought out by RSS-affiliated think tank India Policy Foundation (IPF), RSS joint general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said that he does not foresee Pakistan Watch to survive for long. According to Hosabale, Pakistan has failed to create institutions and its economy has not moved ahead. “In 1980-85, a journal called USSR Watch was released and it was said that it would remain for long,” he said, adding that the USSR split within years. NOTING THAT all offers of friendship with Pakistan have ended in disaster as the country considers India its biggest enemy, a top RSS leader Monday underlined several problems the western neighbour is facing and said the country might not last long.
