“There have been several reports of a 45-day ceasefire offer, or a 15-point exchange. We do not comment on these individual, specific incidents,” foreign office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said, according to state-run Pakistan Television. Iran has previously indicated that it is seeking a permanent ceasefire with guarantees against future attacks by the United States and Israel. On Monday evening, the Islamic Republic News Agency has stated that Iran has responded to the US proposal to Pakistan. It further said that Iran's response shows that Tehran is rejecting the ceasefire and emphasising the necessity to permanently end the war.
