Pakistan and the United Kingdom (UK) on Tuesday agreed to further strengthen bilateral defence relationships. This was decided during Ministry of Defence UK Permanent Secretary Stephen Lovegrove’s separate meetings with Defence Minister Pervez Khattak and Secretary Defence Lt Gen (Retd) Ikram Ul Haq in Rawalpindi. Ways and means to further strengthen bilateral defence relationships were also discussed. The British defence secretary along with his delegation is visiting Pakistan to attend 16th Session of Pakistan-UK Defence Cooperation Forum meeting. The forum provides a comprehensive mechanism for bilateral collaboration in the domains of defence and defence industry.
