PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mahmood Khan has issued special instructions to the chief secretary, inspector general of police and administrative heads of all departments to take measures for coping with the emergency situation arising in the wake of ongoing skirmishes between Pakistan and India. A notification has been issued to airlines that the facility has been closed for flights till further orders. Similarly, the provincial government has declared the emergency in hospitals and cancelled leaves of all police and law enforcing agencies personnel. Mahmood also directed the Disaster Management Authority to take all kind of measures for meeting any untoward happening. The participants took a review of preparedness for meeting any emergency.
