Pakistan is likely to adopt a strong stance at the Asian Cricket Council meeting in Kuala Lumpur this week and will insist on hosting the Asian Emerging Nations Cup tournament this year. Pakistan had got hosting rights for the Asian Emerging Nations Cup when an ACC meeting was held in Lahore last October but delegates from India and Bangladesh didn’t come for the meeting. Later India and Bangladesh both said they will not send their teams to Lahore for the Emerging Nations Cup due to security concerns.
