Pakistan has said it will “definitely acquire” advanced technology to boost its defence after India’s successful test of a supersonic interceptor missile. Expressing concern at India's missile test, Aziz said it will disturb the region’s balance of power. Aziz's remarks came a day after India successfully tested an indigenously developed supersonic interceptor missile, capable of destroying any incoming ballistic missile, from a test range off the Odisha coast. The foreign policy chief said India and Pakistan are bound by an agreement to inform each other about missile tests. Aziz recently accused India of lobbying to block the sale of eight F-16 combat jets to Pakistan by the US.
