Priyanka Lucknow, Feb. 27: Narendra Modi today suggested the Nehru-Gandhi family had lost connect with their Uttar Pradesh pocket borough, in a veiled dig at Priyanka Vadra for not staying back to campaign in the elections now under way in the heartland. Modi didn't take names but left no one in doubt who he was referring to when he spoke of "rumours" that "such and such pair" would campaign. It was said that such and such pair would campaign. The allusion was to a rumour that Priyanka, Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's daughter, and Dimple, chief minister Akhilesh Yadav's wife, would hold joint campaigns. Targeting the Samajwadi-Congress alliance, Modi said Samajwadi chief Akhilesh was sitting in "a sinking ship".
