DHAKA, May 10, 2024 (BSS) - Foreign Minister and Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today said that Pahela Baishakh, the first day of Bengali New Year, is the symbol of non-communalism. Earlier, the foreign minister answered various questions of journalists. About the recent White House briefing over human rights, he said human rights in Bangladesh are better than many countries. "Human rights are not in ideal position in any country of the world," he added. He said all countries should work together for development of human rights and showed keen interest to work for development of human rights with Bangladesh's development partners.
