LeycoState-run Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., (Pagcor) has issued a stern warning against errant offshore gaming operators to strictly comply with government regulations and pay proper taxes, saying concerned tax agencies are closely monitoring how they conduct business in the country. He said these other aspects of their operations include applications for the necessary and appropriate visas or permits for all their employees, and payment of proper taxes and fees due to government agencies. He urged POGOs not to hesitate to approach Pagcor should they need clarification. Dominguez asked agencies such as DOLE and the Bureau of Immigration to find ways to reconcile the workers’ list by physically checking establishments where these foreign workers have been hired.
