MANILA, Philippines — Two low-pressure areas (LPAs) inside the Philippine territory will bring rains to parts of Luzon, the weather state bureau reported Sunday. ADVERTISEMENTIn an advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said one of the LPAs is located 160 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan as of 3 pm.m Sunday. The other LPA was last seen 135 kilometers west-northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan. The “habagat” will cause Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and the rest of Calabarzon scattered rains and thunderstorms. Meanwhile, a localized thunderstorm will bring rain over the rest of the country but this would mostly be in the afternoon or evening.
