The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect a large portion the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its weather forecast on Saturday. ADVERTISEMENTAccording to Pagasa, cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected over Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga due to the ITCZ. The state weather bureau advised residents in the affected areas to prepare for possible flooding and landslides due to the inclement weather.
