Mark Jones, 51, pleaded guilty to two counts of indecent assault against a young girl earlier this year. The LiverpoolEcho revealed that the man hit at Halewood station in Merseyside early on Monday morning was due in court hours later. Police and paramedics were called to the station at 7.41am after receiving reports of a casualty on the tracks. A British Transport Police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Halewood station at 7.41am this morning following reports of a casualty on the tracks. She added: "The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
