Ranveer Singh, who is receiving rave reviews for his latest film Padmaavat, has finally ended his self-imposed silence on the film and his character, Sultan Alauddin Khilji. In one of such interviews with Mid-Day, he shed light on his role of Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat. I think the bisexuality added another layer to Khilji’s complex personality; it was a complete dismantling of a traditional moral compass.”He added, “But, this is a profession where taking big risks defines people. I had to do a lot of study to generate that conviction [in me] that there are people, who think that way. Made at a budget of Rs 180 crore, Padmaavat is likely to continue its dream run at the box office for another week.
