The Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project will forever change the economic landscape of Bangladesh’s 21 southwestern districts. Bangladesh will finally join the Asian Highway Network with the Padma Bridge. Bagerhat-3 lawmaker Talukder Abdul Khaleque said: “Industrialisation has gone up in the 21 districts in tandem with the construction of Padma Bridge. All happening thanks to the Padma Bridge Project,” he said. The first span of Padma Bridge was installed on September 30.
