A total of Tk2,09,40,300 has been collected on the first day on Padma Bridge till 6am on Monday after authorities opened it to traffic. Earlier, a total of Tk82,19,050 was collected in the first eight hours on Padma Bridge. Since the inauguration of the Padma Bridge, the bridge authorities have set a target of collecting a toll of Tk133.66 crore per month.
