Packers update: Doubs frustrates Alexander

One of the more interesting battles training camp took place yesterday between Romeo Doubs and Jaire Alexander. Bowden (6-2, 239), a rookie out of the University of Wisconsin, was signed by the Packers as an undrafted free agent on April 30, but was released on July 23. Callis (5-10, 174), a rookie who spent four years at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma (2019-22), and one season at Troy University (2023), was a tryout player at the Packers’ rookie minicamp in May. He played in 27 games at ECU, recording 77 tackles (47 solo), three tackles for a loss, three interceptions, 20 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Davis played in 32 games at Southern Utah, registering 44 tackles (35 solo), two tackles for a loss, one interception and 11 passes defensed.
