Packed house at Weyburn, Sask., KFC buffet after fears of closure

The news of the KFC staying opened was followed by a packed house on Wednesday, which also happened to be Senior's Discount Day. It was the first KFC buffet in Canada in 1988. Health Minister Dustin Duncan had planned to attend the sit-in to show support for the buffet staying open. Fears were calmed and people flocked to the KFC in Weyburn, Sask., after rumours circled that it was closing. Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall went on Twitter to call for the buffet to not be shut down.
