Pacific culture celebrated by hundreds in ChristchurchJOSEPH JOHNSON/STUFF Polyfest Canterbury 2018 celebrates pacific youth through cultural performance by students from across the Upper South Island. Students from across the Upper South Island have taken to the stage to celebrate Pacific youth in New Zealand. Polyfest Canterbury was held alongside Christchurch's Avon River, in Dallington, on Saturday. The annual event features cultural performances by about 750 students from 19 secondary schools in Christchurch, Nelson and Ashburton.
