Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will meet virtually with the premiers today as provincial and federal politicians point fingers at each other over the speed of Canada's COVID-19 vaccination effort. A spokesperson from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said Trudeau will repeat his offer today to help the provinces speed up the pace of vaccinations. Government numbers show Canada had received nearly 425,000 doses of the Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines as of Dec. 31. But many premiers have said the real question in the days and weeks ahead will be whether Ottawa gets vaccines to the provinces quickly enough. The Ontario government's vaccination website, meanwhile, shows Ontario had administered just 72,631 doses as of Wednesday night.
