BUTTERWORTH: The Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) has maintained that it has no connection with the Asia Comic Cultural Museum in Komtar, here. Penang Youth and Sports committee chairman Soon Lip Chee said while it is true that PYDC had paid for the museum’s rent in the past, the situation has since changed. “PYDC hasn’t been paying rent for the museum since January this year. So PYDC is not connected to the museum,” he said when asked to respond to calls for the state government to stop funding PYDC. Soon was speaking to reporters before the Youth Session debate on the 2020 Bugdet.
