The new channe­l shall be seen across the countr­y, says Marriy­um Aurang­zebISLAMABAD: Despite PTV facing huge financial crunch, the federal government on Wednesday launched a new channel called PTV Parliament, meant for better coverage of parliamentary proceedings. The channel will broadcast day long parliamentary proceedings live from the parliament house. Later in a press conference here in Islamabad Aurungzeb criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and called him a master of ‘U-turn’. Imran Khan appears before ATC in PTV, Parliament attack caseHowever, the PTI later decided to withdraw the name, saying they took the decision in haste. Aurangzeb said that the federal cabinet has approved film and culture policy which were formulated after consultation with all the provinces.
