The Professional Triathletes Organisation have announced that CBC Sports will provide “extensive coverage of all PTO Tour events in 2022, live and free-to-all via CBC Sports digital platforms: CBC Gem, cbcsports.ca and the CBC Sports app for iOS and Android devices.”This year CBC Sports will cover:The PTO Canadian Open, Edmonton, AB, Canada (July 23-24)The second edition of the Collins Cup in Bratislava, Slovakia (August 20)The PTO US Open in Dallas, Texas, US (September 17-18)Preview shows and highlights packages before/after each PTO Tour event“This is a very unique and special opportunity to race a major PTO event in my hometown,” said Paula Findlay, one of the pre-race favourites for the event this weekend. “I grew up training on this race course as a kid, so to come back to race on it in 2022 and share it with the sport’s biggest names is very cool. It’s absolutely a race that you don’t want to miss.”
