Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Dr Murad Rass submitted a resolution in Punjab Assembly on Friday, demanding a ban to be imposed on the Japanese Doraemon cartoons and foreign dramas. He said that these cartoons and dramas have adverse effects on the adolescents watching them. “Children are an easy target of Doraemon cartoon. These cartoons are having a negative impact on the educational and physical well-being of children,” he said. The critics have argued that it carries offensive and disrespectful language, which has a negative effect on the minds of children.
