Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb and former finance minister Miftah Ismail addressed a press conference here in which they lashed at the PTI government. Abbasi said that the country’s economy is facing serious threats as the present government has received record loans in its initial period. Responding on the appointment of Justice Asif Saeed Khosa as new chief justice, Abbasi said that judges should provide justice to everyone. He responded to the government’s allegations that the PML-N requested them for an NRO [National Reconciliation Ordinance] and said, “The authority to provide NRO resides with the dictator.
