PSP affiliated employees alleged of destroying biometrics machine at SSIC


KARACHI: Following in the footsteps of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L), the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) workers removed the official data of its employees’ attendance at the Sindh Small Industries Corporation (SSIC), Pakistan Today learned on Friday. According to the sources, SSIC management had installed biometric attendance system at the corporation’s headquarters, located at Regal Chowk, Saddar, to ensure there were no any ghost employees. The PSP workers at the corporation also announced to launch PSP labor Federation Unit on January 18, however, the SSIC administration issued a circular restraining the employees from taking part in the program. The sources disclosed that PSP workers had earlier also poured a poisonous liquid into the biometric machine for the purpose to make it dysfunctional. The biometric machine has been installed again, and it is functioning as per its routine, he said.
