More than 500 tankers have already confirmed participation in the 119th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series to be held from July 22 to 23 at the Rizal Memorial Swimming Pool in Malate, Manila. “In more than six years, the PSL was able to establish monthly competitions, and now we are on our 119th leg. PSL has definitely met its goal – even exceeding it – actually,” said PSL President Susan Papa. We are happy that a lot of swimmers from PSL are making use of our grassroots developmental program,” added Papa. Among the featured events are 50m backstroke, 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly for six-under; 50m backstroke, 100m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m freestyle, 100m breaststroke and 50m butterfly for seven to nine years; and 200m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m butterfly, 50n breaststroke, 50m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 200m Individual Medley, 100m freestyle, 100m breaststroke and 50m butterfly for 10-over.
