Philippine Swimming League (PSL) standout Jerard Dominic Jacinto copped a gold medal in the 9th ASEAN Schools Games being held at the Singapore Sports School in Singapore. Jacinto, a Philippine national junior record holder, topped the boys’ 100m backstroke in 59.60 seconds. “PSL Family is proud of Jerard Jacinto winning the gold medal in 100m backstroke. Not to be outdone, Newberry scored her second gold medal in the Games after winning the girls’ 100m backstroke event. Abunda placed behind the gold medal winner in Devi Jayaindran Pavithraa of Malaysia (46.04).
