Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly closing in on the signing of Sporting Lisbon star Manuel Ugarte, with the French champions set to beat Chelsea to his signature. Lisbon-based newspaper Correio da Manha report that the French champions have agreed to pay the £52million clause to sign Ugarte. Ugarte has impressed during his second season at Sporting, with the midfielder making 47 appearances in all competitions.
