IN line with its goal to lay down a comprehensive program for sports development, the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) will hold the second National Consultative Meeting among sports stakeholders from September 22 to 23 at the Philsports Arena Multi-Purpose Hall in Pasig City. Meanwhile, Ramirez designated Marc Velasco, a former official of the Hong Kong Sports Institute as national training director. We, in the PSC is accountable to the public because it’s the taxpayers’ money that is being used to finance their training,” said Ramirez. Ramirez said that all athletes and national sports association would be asked to sign a contract, stating their responsibility to deliver results. “If they (athletes and NSAs) will not sign the contract, then there will be no allowances for them,” Ramirez added.
