In a media release on Saturday, the PSC said the multiple choice question examination held on Friday was cancelled for 'unavoidable reasons'. As many as 16,900 candidates took part in the exam at 12 centres in Dhaka amid allegations of question leaks. The PSC said the new date and time for the test would be announced later. A PSC official, on condition of anonymity, told bdnews24.com that the commission held an emergency meeting after the allegations emerged. "Most of the members favoured cancelling the test at the meeting," he added.
