The conference, “The Reshaping of Philippine Studies: Contending Viewpoints, Voices and Knowledges,” would be held at the National Museum. The field of Philippine studies continued to be reframed and even remade through the work of scholars and academics, resulting in new theoretical and methodological directions. 26 sessionsClose to 100 scholars and academics will present papers in 26 sessions in the conference to be keynoted by PSA president emeritus Bernardita R. Churchill. Established in 1984, PSA is the leading umbrella organization of scholars in the Philippines.
