Over the past decade, 76,190 Malaysian students have studied in the UK, with 15,000 in the academic year of 2018-2019. Two of the world’s top three universities are in the UK, and a further 26 UK universities and colleges are among the world’s 200 best institutions for learning. Imperial College London and Cambridge University Malaysian alumnus Asrif Omar said that studying in the UK has enabled him to discover the “lifelong learner” in him. Work in the UKFrom summer of next year, international students will be able to stay in the UK and work, or look for work for two years after graduation. UK graduates are among the most employable in the world and the majority believe they have progressed more quickly in their career, gained promotions and earned more because of a UK education.
