A regional MTN MoMo (mobile money) account was opened for MTN staff to transfer their donations into. Meanwhile, in the Northern Cape, food and PPE was contributed to Sammu Environmental Outreach. In Cape Town, the main beneficiaries were schools in need. Astra School in Montana, Cape Town, provides education to special needs students. The MTN Group is listed on the JSE Securities Exchange in South Africa under the share code “MTN”.
