PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari expressed his sorrow over the loss, saying it was “huge loss for the party and the people of his constituency”. Similarly, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed his condolences, and called Madad an “exemplary human being and good friend”. Jam Madad Ali formerly belonged to the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional but had later crossed over to the PPP. Just one day ago, Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Waqar Seth had passed away due to the disease.
