The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) would perform better in the Volta Region than the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the December 7 polls, the Volta Regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) chairman has predicted. “The PPP is even doing better in Volta Region that NPP, they have done nothing and Paa Kwesi has even worked more than them…that is what we fear not the NPP…,” he said. The PPP recently adored Brigitte Dzogbenuku who hails from the volta region as a running mate. Mr Gyampong further said that the NDC rather sees the PPP as an emerging force in the region than the NPP.
