A four-lane, 20-meter “friendship” road will be built to ease traffic congestion along Pulo-Diezmo Road, Cabuyao’s only gateway to South Luzon Expressway (SLEX). The public-private partnership project will open a new gateway via Eton-Greenfield SLEX exit, said Cabuyao City Mayor Mel Gecolea, the project’s principal proponent. The road will begin from Eton City-ABI rotunda passing through Malitlit road and exiting to Cabuyao National Road in Barangay Sala. ADVERTISEMENTThe project is a partnership between the city governments of Cabuyao, Sta. Rosa City Mayor Dan Fernandez, ABI executive Richard Sun, Eton representative Star Tuason, and the two city’s technical teams.
