PPP CEC asks its members to resign from PDM

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Monday rejected the show-cause notices issued last week by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), and demanded an “unconditional apology”. Moreover, the CEC of the PPP asked all the party members to resign from their positions in the opposition alliance as no party “should try and impose their will and dictation on any other political party”. “The PPP demands an unconditional apology to the ANP and to the PPP for this obnoxious attitude,” the PPP chairman added. Bilawal said the CEC also discussed the census 2017 results, adding that the PPP had conditionally accepted census 2017 results at first. He demanded the government discuss the census results during a joint session of the Parliament.
