KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah on Thursday said party’s Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will hold a meeting with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri in Lahore later today (Thursday). Speaking to media in Islamabad, Shah said that the party delegation is meeting with the PAT chief on the latter’s invitation to Zardari. A private media outlet reported that PPP leaders Qamar Zaman Kaira, Dr Qayyum Soomro and Shah will also attend the meeting. The report further stated that Zardari has contacted the PAT chief to discuss the Justice Baqir Najafi commission on the 2014 Model Town incident. Qadri, however, in a press conference on Wednesday termed the provincial government claims that the report does not blame any government official as false propaganda.
