Share TweetBy Leslie Ann AquinoThe Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Wednesday said the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) has approved a resolution imposing a total ban on the deployment of workers to Kuwait. It said the total ban was made on recommendation of Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III. Earlier, DOLE asked the NBI to conduct a re-autopsy on Villavende’s remains to verify the Kuwaiti report. Villavende’s remains arrived in Manila in a closed casket on Jan. 8.
