The Philippine Olympic Committee was granted a total of P46 million to help in its preparation for the Southeast Asian, Asian and the Olympic games. SMC and MVP groups donate P20M each while the @pbaconnect chime in P6M (P500k per team) to the Philippine Olympic Commission to help in the development of Filipino athletes for the SEA, Asian, and Olympic games. "These are all directed contribution towards athletes, towards National Sports Assocations for the program for Southeast Asia and Asian games. "Malapit na ang Asian games at saka kailangan ma-identify yung mga atleta at saka NSAs na pwede nating tulungan sa Southeast Asian Games." Marcial shared that this initiative has been in the governors' pipeline since a league planning held in Hong Kong.
