The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday welcomed the results of the Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showing the high satisfaction rating given by Filipinos to the government’s anti-illegal drugs campaign and the lower number of families who fall prey to common crimes. SWS reported on Sunday that 78 percent of Filipinos are satisfied with the war on drugs in the second quarter of 2018. ADVERTISEMENTREAD: Survey: 4 of 5 Pinoys satisfied with drug war“That’s eight out of 10 Filipinos expressing approval on the war on drugs,” Police Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde said in a press briefing. “The PNP welcomes the appreciation of the public to the anti-crime campaign being waged by the PNP against all forms of criminal activity as expressed in the latest survey,” Albayalde said. He said that data from the SWS is consistent with data from the PNP.
