PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde stated this Monday in his first media interview after attending the 87th International Criminal Police Organization (ICPO-Interpol) General Assembly held from November 18-21 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In the Philippine setting, the PNP continues to upgrade its capabilities through the enhancement of facilities and procurement of equipment. Aside from Albayalde, the Philippine delegation also included representatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC). At the sidelines of the assembly, Albayalde said the Philippine delegation held a bilateral meeting with the Singapore Police Force delegation, led by Commissioner Hoong Wee Teck.
