Punio, a retired employee of the Philippine Long Distance Telecommunication Company (PLDT) was kidnapped on June 25 while on board his sports utility vehicle in Barangay Santol in Quezon City. The cadaver was later on discovered and buried by authorities at Calaca Catholic Cemetery in Calaca, Batangas.
