PNP adds muscle to Soccsksargen force 54 SHARES Share it! The newbie cops received their certificate of completion after undergoing 60-days of rigid training facilitated by the Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU-12) headed by Senior Superintendent Jesus Solares, the Special Action Force (SAF), Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Air Force (PAF) and the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). Rasco said he expects the newbie cops to enhance the capability of the PRO-12 in responding and resolving all situations that need police assistance. PNP chief Director General Oscar Albayalde earlier said that he wanted to institutionalize the SAF’s six-month BISOC training, instead of the six-month on-the-job-training (OJT). He added that it is during the newbie cops’ OJT that the risk of being exposed to corrupt practices is high.
