On Wednesday, Grab Philippines and the Philippine National Police – Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to ensure road safety and security. Under the MOA, the PNP-HPG should provide Grab drivers with training on road safety and security, as well as anti-carnapping, anti-highway robbery, and relevant anti-criminality orientation seminars. Meanwhile, PNP-HPG Director, Police Chief Superintendent Antonio Gardiola welcomed Grab as a partner in its road safety and security initiative. We welcome them as a partner in this collaboration on road safety and security that can only be beneficial to our passengers,” Gardiola said. Although the MOA was only valid for 12 months, Cu said Grab is open to have a “long-term partnership” with the PNP-HPG.
